How do I choose the plate coating?

Oris™ kits are offered with TC treated, collagen I-coated or fibronectin-coated plates. If you are not sure which coating to use for your cell type, test the Oris™ Cell Migration Assay – TriCoated product. Each plate has 32 wells of each of the three coatings so you can test which coating works best in your experiments.

Oris™ Pro Assay kits are offered with TC-treated or collagen I coated plates. If you are not sure which coating to use for your cell type, you can test one of each type of plate to assess which coating works best in your experiments. Or, you can test the Oris™ Cell Migration Assay – TriCoated product – although this plate uses stoppers instead of the soluble gel to create the detection zones, one experiment should reveal whether TC-treated or collagen I-treated surfaces will work better for your cell type in the Oris™ Pro format.
