Can I use the badge for area or perimeter monitoring rather than personal monitoring?

Yes. You can clip the badge anywhere there might be exposure as long as the temperature range falls between -5° to 40°C (27°F to 104°F) and the relative humidity is in the range 15% to 80%. Always ensure the open end of the badge is not blocked by other objects and is pointing towards the ground so that nothing can fall into the opening to block the air flow into the badge, and keep the badge out of direct sunlight.
