Platypus Technologies is pleased to offer its Contact Printing Kit. The Platypus™ Contact Printing Kit contains your choice of planar, micro- or nano-patterned PDMS stamps, gold-coated printing surfaces and your choice of thiol chemistries.
Contact Printing is the process whereby a chemical or biological agent is adsorbed to a low energy surface (such as PDMS) and is transferred to a high energy surface (such as gold or plain glass) through contact. The printing surface of gold may also be enhanced by functionalization of the surface with a thiol-based self-assembled monolayer (SAM) to maximize transfer and allow for further manipulation of the printed entities.
